Are you sure you want to actually group by SortOrder?
If so, then this is the correct formula you have, but it is missing some quotes:
GroupBy( Filter(MyProps4,type = "Files"), "sortOrder", "tempGroup")
This will produce a table that has a distinct column of "sortOrder" and a column called tempGroup that will contain all the records matching that sort order.
